Multi-family Interior Design
Sourcing & Global Production

Republic Phase 2 is the second installment of a high-design multifamily development in downtown Salt Lake City. Building on the foundation established in Phase 1, MVA led the design of all shared interiors, including the lobby, lounges, coworking space, and fitness center. The project layers contemporary textures and custom furnishings with an urban-industrial edge, maintaining the identity of the original while introducing a more refined material palette. We developed and sourced bespoke pieces internationally to meet scale, budget, and branding goals—ensuring every detail aligned with the building's evolving visual narrative.

Evolving a Brand Through Space
With Phase 2, our goal wasn’t just to replicate the look and feel of the first building—but to mature it. We expanded the material vocabulary to include richer wood tones, sculptural lighting, and softer upholstery that complements the urban energy of the neighborhood while offering a more elevated experience.
Designing for Durability & Scale
MVA managed the sourcing, production, and delivery of custom furniture, lighting, and finish materials across multiple zones. Every selection was made with long-term maintenance, budget performance, and user comfort in mind—delivering design that’s not just beautiful, but built to last.
